Flying Tigers UAV Training Base

The Feihu training base is located at the Maixi Happy Sports Base in Changchong Mountain, Beishi District, Kunming City. It features an isolated training base, allowing trainees to learn conveniently and become familiar with the unique topography and meteorological climate of the Yunnan plateau region. Training services can be provided around the clock, depending on the trainees' schedules, offering a localized service advantage.

The site covers approximately 25 mu (approximately 1.67 hectares) and has a 120-meter-long, 10-meter-wide runway for fixed-wing UAV takeoff and landing. In addition, the multirotor practice flight areas 1 and 2 provide training services for multirotor UAV pilots. The base is equipped with theoretical classrooms, charging rooms, maintenance rooms, warehouses, rest rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and other supporting facilities, providing excellent conditions for UAV pilot training.

1. Standardized Examination Service Process

The Feihu UAV training base operates a bi-monthly class opening mechanism, providing trainees with more learning opportunities.

The base's unique feature is its inclusion of a high-altitude environment adaptation training module. Yunnan is located on a plateau with unique climate and geographical conditions that affect UAV flight performance and operation. Through high-altitude environment adaptation training, trainees can better master the flight characteristics and operation techniques of UAVs in high-altitude environments, improving their ability to cope with complex environments and ensuring safe and stable operation of UAVs in actual work.

2. Industry-Education Integration and Employment Ecosystem

The Feihu UAV training base is closely linked to Kunming's low-altitude economic development plan. With the rapid development of Kunming's low-altitude economy, the demand for professional UAV personnel is increasing. As a professional UAV talent training institution, the base provides strong talent support for industrial development.

The base actively engages in school-enterprise cooperation and has established a cooperative mechanism for the targeted delivery of talent with multiple UAV companies. After graduation, trainees directly enter companies for employment, achieving seamless integration of learning and employment, solving the companies' talent needs and providing stable employment channels for trainees.
